Come Home to Your Self- Lotus Painting
September 18 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Do you ever feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders? Like you are stuck in the mud and can’t get out?
I love the symbol of the lotus because it reminds me that the mud is the starting point for growth. The lotus needs the nutrients in the mud. Likewise, our “mud” probably had lessons and realizations that can help us in some way. We aren’t stuck. We can choose to grow and come to the surface where we can bloom.
Through meditation, a guided visualization, a creative warmup, conversation, and a simple painting process, you will feel renewed and supported. Even if you’ve never held a paintbrush before, you can take a breath and relax. I will guide you through the process so that you can paint a lotus – symbol of renewal, rebirth, and hope. Your painting will be a beautiful reminder that even though you go through challenging times, you can rise out of the “mud” and bloom!
Gift yourself a bit of time to relax, try something fun and different, and quite possibly discover something new about yourself!
